1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Take Off Dating waitlist website ("Site"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.

2. Description of Service

The Site provides a pre-launch waitlist for the Take Off dating application. By signing up, you express interest in being notified when the application launches. The waitlist does not guarantee access to the application or any specific launch date.

3. Waitlist Reservation

The Waitlist Reservation is a one-time payment of $49.00 USD that secures your priority access when the Take Off app launches. Women may verify their identity to join the waitlist for free. By making this purchase, you understand:

  • The reservation secures priority access at launch, not guaranteed immediate access
  • The reservation is fully refundable if the app does not launch within 12 months of purchase
  • All members must complete identity verification (see Section 6); women's fee is waived contingent on successful verification
  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe

4. VIP Founding Membership

The VIP Founding Membership is a one-time purchase of $1,000.00 USD that provides enhanced priority access, lifetime locked Black Member pricing at $19/month, and additional exclusive benefits when the Take Off app launches. By making this purchase, you understand:

  • VIP status provides first access at launch before all other waitlist members
  • Benefits (profile boost, founding member badge, free premium month, concierge support, launch event invitations) are subject to the final app's availability and features
  • "Locked pricing" means your Black Member subscription rate of $19/month will not increase for as long as your account remains active
  • If the Take Off app does not launch within 12 months of your purchase, you are entitled to a full refund
  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe

5. Refund Policy

Waitlist Reservation and VIP Founding Membership purchases are refundable under the following conditions:

  • If the app does not launch within 12 months of purchase - full refund guaranteed
  • Within 14 days of purchase if the app has not yet launched - full refund on request
  • To request a refund, contact us at support@takeoffdating.com

6. Identity Verification

To keep the community verified and safe, every member must complete an identity check. We use Stripe Identity to capture and analyze a government-issued photo ID and a self-portrait photo ("selfie"), which may involve biometric processing (such as facial matching) to confirm that the selfie matches the document. By proceeding, you consent to this collection and processing as described in our Privacy Policy.

  • You must provide accurate, truthful identity information and a genuine likeness; you may not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or gender.
  • Women's $49 fee is waived on the basis of their submission; this waiver is provisional and conditioned on passing our verification and manual review.
  • We may store a copy of your selfie temporarily for manual review and delete it promptly once your identity and gender are confirmed, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to decline, suspend, or revoke your waitlist spot and to require you to sign up and resubmit if we cannot verify your identity or if any information is found to be inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent. We will notify you by email if your spot is removed.
  • Where a payment was made, removal for failed verification does not by itself entitle you to a refund beyond the refund terms in Section 5; contact us with any questions.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information when signing up or verifying your identity
  • Attempt to circumvent any security measures on the Site
  • Use automated systems to submit multiple signups
  • Interfere with the proper operation of the Site

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Take Off Dating LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Take Off Dating LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site or the waitlist service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
